Records play from beginning to end at Stereo Stereo, a coffee bar in Morley, northeast of central Perth. Wooden shelves hold bags of beans, kettles and drippers; Twin Peaks roasts across Rudloc Road. Come to explore its coffees over a toastie, with time to listen and choose something to brew at home.
Coffee
Twin Peaks’ Profiler blend anchors the espresso offering, while batch brew changes weekly. Ask what is brewing before choosing a flat white or filter. The shelves carry Twin Peaks coffees for espresso and filter alongside rotating international guest roasters. Staff offer home-brewing advice, so bring a question about your grinder or usual method when choosing a bag.
The Mont Blanc combines cold brew, oat whipped cream and orange zest; a yuzu cold-brew spritz offers a citrus alternative. Persian Love iced tea is also on the menu.
Food & Room
The house-made toasties include the Tuna Turner, with tuna, Kewpie mayonnaise, capers and dill, and the Ozzy, a Vegemite-and-cheese sourdough toastie. Pastries come from local suppliers including Teeter, Wonder Bakehouse, Goods Bakery and Smidge. This is a small breakfast selection, and popular fillings can sell out before lunch; arrive early if food matters to your visit.
The hi-fi uses custom speakers from Copenhagen’s Arda Audio, with whole records providing the soundtrack. Seats can fill up, so leave some flexibility if you want to stay. Choose Stereo Stereo for a morning of coffee, records and bean browsing; it closes by early afternoon and does not open on Sundays or Mondays.
