PERC's East Lake cafe sits at Hosea L. Williams Drive and 2nd Avenue, east of downtown Atlanta. Mint-green walls, a slatted counter and pegboard coffee shelves frame a stop for the Georgia roaster's Mild and Wild coffees, a lavender–habanero Good Times Latte or a breakfast Crunchwrap.
Coffee
Mild and Wild choices run through the espresso and drip menu. PERC's coffee bags use a one-to-five-dot scale: blue bags cover the mellow, sweet end, while pink bags move towards fruitier, more unusual flavours. Ask which coffees are on before choosing; the scale helps you describe what you want without committing to a particular origin. A flight brings together Mild, Wild and a manual brew for comparison. The pegboard shelves stock bags of beans and brewing gear for home.
The Good Times Latte combines lavender-vanilla with habanero sugar. It's the order for someone who wants a flavoured latte with a spicy addition; choose espresso or drip to explore the coffee itself. Tea, matcha and decaf are also available.
Food & visit
The breakfast Crunchwrap folds hash browns, scrambled egg, American cheese and PERC sauce into a tortilla, with sausage available as an addition. It makes this a substantial breakfast stop, alongside donuts and pastries. Arrive before 3pm for the kitchen; coffee continues until 6pm.
Large windows bring light into the high-ceilinged room, with tables inside and outside and parking behind the shop. People stay to work or catch up, but seats can fill and the music can be loud. Choose East Lake for a house-roasted coffee or the Good Times Latte with breakfast; bring headphones if you plan to work.
