Normo's corner entrance opens onto window seats and a central, U-shaped coffee bar in Antwerp's historic centre, north of the cathedral. Come to try the light roasts made at its own roastery, then choose a bag for home.
Coffee
Start with batch brew to taste the coffee black, or a flat white if you prefer milk. Normo roasts lightly across its espresso and filter range; ask which beans are being served before choosing a bag. For home brewing, Normo's Filter Blend pairs Brazilian Bota Fora with Ethiopian Chelbessa in equal proportions. The coffees on the bar rotate.
Browse the brewing equipment alongside the bags, and ask for advice on a coffee for your home setup. Tea is available too. Food is a small selection of cakes and pastries: plan for coffee and something sweet.
Service & Room
Wooden chairs, marble-topped bistro tables and exposed brick surround the bar. Window seats face the street; outside, benches offer another place to sit with a cup. Seats can fill up, so a long stay depends on finding a table.
Choose Normo for a coffee-and-beans stop while exploring the old centre: taste the house roasting, compare the bags, and take a window seat if one is free. Go Monday to Saturday; the café closes on Sundays and public holidays.
