Harvest Cafe & Bakery faces the water on Glashaven, a short walk south-east of central Rotterdam. A long bar, open kitchen and waterside tables give it room for both a coffee stop and breakfast. The founders brought Melbourne hospitality experience to the cafe in 2018.
Coffee
Sister company Ripsnorter supplies the coffee. Espresso, long black, piccolo and flat white share the menu, while retail bags connect the cafe to the roasting operation.
Filter
Batch brew and pour-over offer two brewed-coffee choices. The available coffees change, so check what is on the bar when ordering.
Food
Bread and pastries are made in house, with sourdough and bakes joining a seasonal breakfast menu. The kitchen changes its dishes with produce availability. Food service ends at 3pm on weekdays and 4pm at weekends.
Service & Room
Inside tables look toward the bar and kitchen; outside seats face Glashaven. Harvest takes walk-ins and can have a queue at meal times. It closes on Tuesdays.
Why Filter Notes shortlisted Harvest Cafe & Bakery
Choose Harvest when the coffee stop also needs to provide breakfast or lunch. Ripsnorter coffee, a working bakery and the waterside setting give it a broader offer than a drinks-only bar.
