Industra’s Holešovice espresso bar is on Veletržní, near Letná. The small room has a blue interior, a short counter and limited seating, so plan a brief coffee stop.
Founders Petra Střelecká and Adam Obrátil opened Industra in Brno in 2013 after working at Prufrock and Taylor Street in London. The Prague bar serves beans from their Brno roastery.
Coffee
Espresso and milk drinks use Industra’s own coffee. Ask which beans are on the grinder and describe what you enjoy drinking before choosing.
Retail bags cover the roastery’s current selection. Try a coffee at the bar before choosing beans to take home.
Filter
Batch brew is a regular feature at Holešovice. Ask which coffee is ready if you want a filter without waiting for a hand brew.
The beans change with the roastery’s seasonal selection. Ask about the origin and process when comparing a filter with the espresso.
Food & other drinks
Sweets come from Brno’s Dezertina, with Ajala chocolate and seasonal ice cream from Ještě jednu. Matcha is available too. The small counter does not provide a full brunch kitchen.
Service & room
Staff can help you choose beans and coffee to drink. A short conversation about your usual brew method is useful if you are buying a bag.
Children and dogs are welcome, and cards and Wi-Fi are available. The limited space still makes a long laptop session impractical.
Planning a visit
Visit for house-roasted coffee, batch brew and retail beans. If you want to sit for a long meal, choose a larger café; this room works best for a short stop.
